
​FRANCO SAMA
​Independent feature film producer Franco Sama boasts a remarkable and extensive history in public speaking and public relations, as well as nearly three decades of experience in independent film development, production, and financing.
Sama has Executive Produced and produced/co-produced an impressive array of nearly forty (40) independent feature films, including, most notably, the charmingly dark comedy, "Guns, Girls and Gambling," starring Gary Oldman, Christian Slater, and Dane Cook, which acquired a distribution deal from Universal Home Entertainment.

Other films Sama has executive-produced include “Black Limousine,” starring David Arquette, Lin Shaye, and Vivica Fox, and “Tooth and Nail,” starring Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones. He also served as Executive Producer on the film festival darling “Petunia,” starring Thora Birch, Brittany Snow, and Academy Award winner Christine Lahti.

Some of his most recent films include the exhilarating Australian action-thriller television movie “Suka” and the action-packed thriller “Take the Night”, which enjoyed a limited theatrical release in the United States. Sama served as a Consulting Producer on “The Shift”, a faith-based drama starring Neal McDonough and Sean Austin, which enjoyed a theatrical release, grossing over $14 Million Dollars worldwide.

Currently, Sama is Executive Producing the highly anticipated Elevated Musical Thriller, "Alexis Colette,” being directed by its writer and creator, Anthony W. Johnson. It is slated to begin principal photography in Buffalo, New York, and Mainland China in the spring of 2027. In addition, Sama, Johnson, and the entire Alexis Colette production team will also produce the exhilarating Fantasy Thriller “VODUN”.
Samaco Films, LLC, and Franco Sama also serves as Executive Producer, in association with the North Dakota production company, Canticle Productions, on three epic true sagas: “Hazel’s Heart,” released by Samuel Goldwyn Films on Christmas 2025, “Medora: Empress of the Badlands,” currently in theaters, and is expected to begin pre-production on “Miracle Landing,” the true story of the catastrophic plane crash that threatened the very existence of what could arguably be deemed the National Basketball Association’s most legendary premiere franchise teams, the iconic Los Angeles Lakers.
Sama is a co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) / North American Partner of Greenlight Entertainment Group, a film financing and production company based in Sydney, Australia, and a long-standing member and former Chair of the Members Events Committee for the Producers Guild of America (PGA).
